The Unseen Gems of Kudee Khao Project was initiated by the Arts and Cultural Management Innovation Program, Faculty of Fine Arts, Srinakharinwirot University, in collaboration with the Management of Cultural Heritage and Creative Industries Program, College of Innovation, Thammasat University. This project aims to present the cultural assets of the Kudee Khao community to both community members and the general public, fostering awareness of their value and encouraging participation in resource management for maximum benefit through creatively designed and presented activities. The project also seeks to ensure the sustainable transmission of cultural resources as heritage for future generations.

The project team recognizes the importance of the diverse cultural resources within the community and has chosen to organize activities that highlight the distinctive features of these cultural assets. Most residents of the community are Muslims who migrated from various areas in the past. Therefore, the project team designed the presentation of the "Hidden Charms of Kudee Khao" activities accordingly. During the event, participants receive diary booklets to record their experiences throughout the activities, collecting stamps from all four activity stations: Step to Qibla Activity, "Return to Earth" Exhibition, Kudee Khao Fragrant Charm Workshop, and Kampong Food area.

The activities begin with: 1. Step to Qibla Activity, where participants can visit the interior of Bang Luang Mosque, the world's only Thai-style mosque, to experience the unique beauty of this mosque that combines the arts of three nations: Thai, Chinese, and Western. Participants also listen to lectures conveying stories and ways of life from the perspective of local residents in the Kudee Khao community. 2. "Return to Earth" Exhibition displays informational content presenting stories about beliefs regarding the afterlife through the lens of Muslim cemeteries or "grave," which represent the community's cultural landscape and reflect the connection between life and culture. 3. Kudee Khao Fragrant Charm Workshop involves making "bunga rampai" or fragrant flower sachets, allowing participants to weave together stories of the mosque's patterns through bunga rampai. The making of fragrant sachets stems from local wisdom in community craftsmanship, incorporating aromatic herbs or flowers to create fragrant items. These fragrant sachets are believed to bring good fortune. 4. Kampong Food, a small area where local residents bring food and sweets, including both commonly available dishes and community-specific recipes, to sell and generate income for community members. Participants also have the opportunity to taste foods from Kudee Khao community culture, including salawa, talum, moh gaeng, mee kati, khanom khrueang thong, khanom krok, and grilled chicken noodles, among others.
