Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Team Project has volunteered personnel from Panyananthaphikkhu Chonprathan Medical Center (PCMC) which provides free healthcare support and treatment for unprivileged people. The operation of the project works in the rural areas across country all year round. This project ideally makes the residents able to conveniently access to primary care service such as, health checkup, medical treatment, and dental care service. These poor people can save the waiting time and healthcare expense in-center hospitals which mostly locate in town. Furthermore, they were given basic knowledge about self-health care. Through these activities provided, the project also enables the participants to achieve universal health coverage and access to quality essential health care services and medicine for all.
1. In 2019, 1,500 participants in 5 rural areas in the North and Northeastern part of Thailand got basic health care services and medicine.
2. The participants receive financial risk protection because the project provides free medical treatment and dental care service.
3. People in the community have been learnt to make a good surrounding to promote health conditions and learnt how to create proper healthy behavior.
