3.8 Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all 3.8.1 Coverage of essential health services (defined as the average coverage of essential services based on tracer interventions that include reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health, infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases and service capacity and access, among the general and the most disadvantaged population) By number of participants, there were 456 medical service recipients, 256 of villagers were suffering from upper respiratory tract. PCMC medical team consisted of doctor, nurse, pharmacist, and health care personnel providing the treatment from the mobile medical unit.
Caveat

His Majesty Late King Rama IX had launched many medical and social welfare projects, which had particularly remained in faraway or underdeveloped rural areas of the country. Due to limited number of hospitals in remote areas, many people living in countryside were having no access to proper medical services. One of projects was the Royal Medical team, accompanying royal initiative of His Majesty Late King Rama IX to provide mobile medical treatment to local people on the constant visits to each region of the country. The Royal Medical Team provided the opportunity to acquire qualified care and free medical support to people. The dentists also joined in the volunteer work as the unit providing simple tooth removal service. This healthy legacy of our caring King was persisted executing by The Princess Debaratana Rajasuda. The welfare projects have been focusing on the poor and under-educated which had an adverse impact on locals. Most of them are engaged in agriculture, which required physical strength. Therefore, PCMC volunteers also provided the knowledge on ailment prevention and basic self-care, for example, first aid, simple preventive medication, nutrition, 10 health commandments, exercise program to boost physical strength and fitness, basic life support training, method for dengue fever prevention, and dental health promotion.
During 21- 25 December 2020, 36 PCMC volunteer staffs were assigned in different locations as follows:

1. Project of Ban Wa Kaleko Border Patrol Police School Tambon Mae Tuen, Amphoe Mae Ramat, Tak Province
Out of total 77 villagers, half of them were in the working age group, came to our mobile medical unit there were group who suffering from the respiratory tract and musculoskeletal problems at 50 percent.
Among those, there were 44 students, 50 percent of those had respiratory tract infection and one third of them had dental problems.
2. Project of Ban Mae Ramoeng School, Tha Song Yang District, Tak Province
There were 371 students, half of them had the respiratory tract and dental health problems.
3. This onsite project could directly help cure hundreds case of patients who had many health problems in poor rural areas. Most of them received complementary treatment from our mobile medical unit.
4. As for physical fitness, people could better cope with tough work in the field, which significantly influenced the overall economy of the country. Instruction about health prevention and promotion was therefore a long-term solution support as self-starting strategies.
5. First aid educators provided the knowledges and workshops for village volunteers of all age.
This self-sustaining skill was ment to be a lifelong learning for them.
6. The basic lifesaving techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was vital for people
living in remote areas to learn, especially when dealing with a life- threatening situation. The earlier CPR is performed, the higher the opportunity of survival after cardiac arrest.
