In present, the clinical exercise testing for cardiopulmonary patients has many procedures and interpretations. Physical therapists play an important role in cardiac rehabilitation for cardiopulmonary patients, post-CABG surgery and congestive heart failure. Therefore, physical therapists must have knowledge of clinical exercise testing interpretation, which includes the exercise program for cardiopulmonary patients. In Thailand, physical therapist must undergo professional training reskill-upskill to collect 50 points in five years, which use the points to renew their licenses of Physical Therapy Council. The Physical therapy faculty of Srinakharinwirot university realizes the importance of developing knowledge competence and experience in physical therapy which consists of cardiac rehabilitation. The faculty organizes training program (reskill-upskill) Cardiac rehabilitation: exercise testing and prescription from 1 – 15 August 2022 in online course via SWU moodle, and Live zoom meeting on 15 August 2022 for seminar cases-base learning for cardiac rehabilitation in many conditions of cardiopulmonary problems. This training program increases knowledge and clinical experience of clinical exercise testing, and exercise prescription for physical therapists in cardiac rehabilitation Moreover, physical therapists could exchange experiences among themselves for further development and sustainable of physical therapy professional skills. The 38 physical therapists are register in the training program, who came from many parts of Thailand. Everyone must take a pre-test examination so they can attend the eight topics of cardiac rehabilitation. The physical therapists are required to take a post-test before completing the program, which must get score more than the pre-test of each person.

After completing the training program, the 38 physical therapists have education, knowledge and skills for sustainable development in cardiac rehabilitation. The most physical therapists were also giving a score assessment about the apply their knowledge of the training program to the patients. The score is very good level, 4.56 out of a full score of 5.00, which represent to confidence in applying knowledge to treat the cardiopulmonary patients in their hospitals. The patients could get the effectiveness cardiac rehabilitation program, which improve the health status nearly normal as soon as possible.
