ขจัดความยากจน
SDG 1 NO POVERTY
1.3 Implement nationally appropriate social protection systems and measures for all, including floors, and by 2030 achieve substantial coverage of the poor and the vulnerable 1.3.1 Proportion of population covered by social protection floors/systems, by sex, distinguishing children, unemployed persons, older persons, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, newborns, work-injury victims and the poor and the vulnerable This project indirectly supports the goal of enhancing the proportion of the population covered by social protection systems by promoting local economic development and preserving cultural heritage. By creating eight prototype clothing sets with the Tai Ngam Weaving Group, the project strengthened the group’s capacity for product design, leading to potential economic benefits for its members, many of whom may include individuals from vulnerable populations. Supporting traditional weaving enhances the livelihoods of artisans, which, in turn, can contribute to economic resilience and stability, potentially reducing reliance on social protection systems for these communities. Thus, it aligns with broader social protection goals by fostering sustainable livelihoods and preserving cultural identity.

SDG 4 QUALITY EDUCATION
4.7 By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture's contribution to sustainable development 4.7.1 Extent to which (i) global citizenship education and (ii) education for sustainable development, including gender equality and human rights, are mainstreamed at all levels in (a) national education policies; (b) curricula; (c) teacher education; and (d) student assessment The project aligns with the principles of global citizenship education and education for sustainable development by integrating cultural heritage and sustainable practices into the educational experience for both faculty and students. By providing hands-on training in product design that is rooted in traditional Thai textiles, it fosters awareness and respect for cultural diversity, which are core elements of global citizenship. Additionally, the project promotes gender equality by empowering women artisans in the Tai Ngam Weaving Group, ensuring their skills and knowledge are valued and preserved. This approach is consistent with the goals of sustainable development education, which seeks to incorporate real-world applications of cultural preservation, gender inclusion, and economic sustainability into educational policies, curricula, teacher training, and student assessments.

SDG 8 DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
8.5 By 2030, achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including for young people and persons with disabilities, and equal pay for work of equal value 8.5.1 Average hourly earnings of female and male employees, by occupation, age and persons with disabilities The project’s focus on creating prototype clothing sets with the Tai Ngam Weaving Group contributes indirectly to improving the average hourly earnings of both female and male workers, including those with disabilities, by enhancing the local textile industry’s capacity and marketability. By building the product design skills of faculty and students, the project strengthened the operational capabilities of the weaving group, improving the quality and diversity of products they offer. This, in turn, can help increase demand for these traditional textiles, potentially raising income opportunities for workers involved in the weaving process, especially women who are often central to such craft-based industries. Furthermore, by integrating traditional and innovative design techniques, the project fosters a more sustainable and profitable market for local textile products, which could lead to better wages and employment opportunities for both male and female artisans. The inclusion of people with disabilities in such initiatives may also promote more inclusive employment practices, contributing to economic empowerment across diverse groups.

SDG 11 SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES
11.4 Strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world's cultural and natural heritage 11.4.1 Total expenditure (public and private) per capita spent on the preservation, protection and conservation of all cultural and natural heritage, by type of heritage (cultural, natural, mixed and World Heritage Centre designation), level of government (national, regional and local/municipal), type of expenditure (operating expenditure/investment) and type of private funding (donations in kind, private non-profit sector and sponsorship) This project supports expenditure on the preservation, protection, and innovation of cultural heritage by investing in the skills and resources of the Tai Ngam Weaving Group, a community-based textile initiative. Through funding that facilitated the creation of 8 prototype clothing sets, the project reflects targeted investment in cultural heritage at a local level, combining public educational resources and potentially private sector contributions. By equipping faculty and students with design skills to enhance the weaving group’s operations, the initiative not only promotes the preservation of traditional attire but also strengthens the group’s economic sustainability. This expenditure contributes to protecting and conserving cultural heritage by revitalizing traditional arts, aligning with broader goals for sustainable funding in cultural preservation efforts.
