The Faculty of Fine Arts at Srinakharinwirot University is an entity with human resources, knowledge, and experience in implementing knowledge management processes to develop new creative innovations, product design, packaging, branding, and cultural heritage management for communities. It has effected change in area-based economic development, such as in Sa Kaeo and Nakhon Nayok provinces, by leveraging diversity in handicrafts, architecture, art, traditions, and culture to create integrated works of value that generate economic growth for society.
Chai Na, Maru Wichai, Ban Thaeo, and Sam Tum sub-districts in Sena District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, are areas under the Faculty of Fine Arts' responsibility in the U2T BCG project. These areas possess diverse resources and cultural variety, with various community products. There is potential to develop these communities to drive the creative economy, integrating local arts, culture, and wisdom with the local community to create products based on cultural capital and local knowledge, which will further drive economic growth. To ensure sustainable development, the Faculty of Fine Arts is implementing a project following the U2T BCG project, titled "Driving the Creative Economy for Area-Based Development in 4 Sub-districts of Sena District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province" to propel a new economic model driven by innovation.
Project Objectives:
1.To create a cultural map by integrating knowledge of art, culture, and local wisdom in Chai Na, Maru Wichai, Ban Thaeo, and Sam Tum sub-districts, Sena District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
2.To establish a model for local cultural communities and create promotional media for tourism to drive the creative economy.
3.To create community identity through the dimensions of performing arts in music and dance, leading to new service formats.
4.To organize technology/knowledge transfer activities that lead to value addition for the local economy.
5.To create model curricula for Upskill/Reskill.
6.To develop product distribution channels and create cooperative networks.

5. Two promotional media and advertising video productions.

This project is funded by a subsidy and delivered under Program 25, the Science, Research, and Innovation System Development Plan in Higher Education Institutions for University Reinvention, in collaboration with the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, to implement the Reinventing University Project for the fiscal year 2023.
